Obituary for JC Wilkins 1-26-1934 to 1-13-2013

JC Wilkins, 78, of Paoli passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 surrounded by family. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Wilkins (Cook) with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.

Born in Elkton, Kentucky he was the son of the late Henry and Lillian Wilkins. He served his country in the U.S. Army stationed at the Nike base in Paoli and retired after 26 years as a truck driver from Amerigas. He and Dottie loved to travel. They especially loved visiting Yellowstone and Crazy Horse where JC got back to nature with the eagles and snakes. His family was his world and family get together were highlights. Fishing with his sons and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandson gave him his greatest pleasures.

Besides his wife, JC is survived by his sons: John Dean, his wife Dolores and daughter Jennifer. Gerald, his children Gerald Jr., Tami her husband Tony Christopher and their son Anthony (Rambo) and his daughter Sam. Paul, his wife Beth and daughter Erin. All services will be held at the convenience of the family.
